Dear Gardeners:
Welcome to Newbury Daylilies. We are located one mile east of Monticello, Il. on the Monticello Rd., just 10 miles west of Interstate 57.
We offer daylilies, iris and lilium for sale. We have over 1200 varieties of daylilies, 175 varieties of iris and 60 varieties of lilium. We update our website regularly with pictures and new plants.
Our philosophy of doing business is to offer healthy and vigorous plants. Daylilies are at least double fan size. All plants are guaranteed to be labeled true to name and presented in an attractive disease-free form. We aim to please. All plants are dipped in fungicide prior to shipment. Our fields are state-inspected by the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
We dig daylilies beginning May 15 and ship until November 1, weather permitting. We dig iris in July and lilium in October. We ship priority mail. Priority mail is $9.50 plus $.50 a plant. Minimum order is $25.00 excluding shipping and handling.
If you don't see a plant listed that you might want, please don't hesitate to ask about it. Some plants are limited in supply and may not be listed. Please feel free to stop by anytime and see the plants in bloom. Bus tours are welcome. We also enjoy doing tours for groups (garden clubs, master gardeners, etc.)
Our Iris bloom time is May 15 through the first week of June. We do have some standard dwarf bearded iris that bloom in April. Daylilies are in full bloom beginning the last week of June and continuing through Sept. Lilium bloom June through August. Give us a call and make an appointment if you plan on visiting so someone can be here.
